YE ARE THE LIGHT

In the Bible, we are told that "God is Light and, in Him, there is no darkness at all ......"

Then, we are told: : "... I create light and darkness, I, the Lord do all these things"

How can we reconcile these two statements?

God is at the level of I AM Awareness, which is all Light. This is where Reality IS. At this level, everything is in harmonious order or the Light and warmth of Truth and Love. This is the level of pure Being and ONENESS. This is the REAL universe. This perfect universe contains the Divine Thought-forms of Beauty, Goodness and Truth. All the beautiful things that we perceive in the world have their origin in the Divine Thought-forms of God. God can only contemplate what is Beautiful, Good and True. All the beautiful species of  plants, flowers and animals that we see in the world originate in God's contemplation. The beauty and harmony of the human form also originates from the Divine-human pattern or Heaven.

Now, the next lower level of the universe is the world of created thoughts, concepts and ideas. In this world, there is Light and darkness. For an idea to exist, it must be contrasted with its opposite. So, we have True and false  thoughts. Good and negative feelings. This is a  mental universe that is produced by the thoughts of human beings. And these thoughts and beliefs are eventually manifested materially. God never sees this universe. The only universe God sees is the universe of Light. So, all the distorted and discordant things that we perceive in the world are the result of false thoughts and beliefs. These all come from the egotistical or mortal mind of human beings. When we are seeing disease, poverty and misery, we are seeing lies manifested.

I AM (Awareness) the Truth, the Light and the Life.

If darkness is only a lack of Light, then all thoughts and beliefs that are not in harmony with God's universe of Light have no reality. They are temporary and false appearances that have no permanent or real existence.

We must take our attention away from false appearances and become AWARE of the Real Universe which is in God consciousness.
