But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!” Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.” Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. And the angel of the LORD came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.1 Kings 19:4-7 INVISIBLE SUPPLY When you have a problem or need something, where do you go? Do you go to other people? Do you try to seek it in the world? If you have ever tried, you know that no-one will help you in the outer world. This is because our supply is not in the world; it is in consciousness. We have an invisible supply. In the New Testament, we read:
Is there any Truth to these sayings? Consciousness is beyond thought. That is why we are told not to take thought for our life. Our Father or Consciousness is Omniscient. So, our consciousness already knows that we need these things before we ask. But we ask 'How will these things come to me?" Well, our Father is Omnipresent and Omnipotent. " I have ways you know not of..." It is not our business to know how they will come. What is our business and what should we do when we have a need? We should go to our Father (consciousness) in secret and meditate until the problem or feeling of need dissolves in the faith of consciousness. When we dissolve the need or problem in consciousness, we then rest in the assurance, faith and joy that our supply will manifest outwardly. By simply uplifting our state of consciousness, we will notice that there never was a lack of any kind. We must continue to meditate until the desire, the worry and fear are dissolved in I AM Awareness. When we return to the state of Peace, Love and Faith, it means that we have reconnected with Infinite Consciousness and invisible supply. Our work is done. We must take our attention [awareness] away from what we lack and, instead, bless and use what we have. When we are grateful to God for what we already have, and keep the spiritual substance of love flowing through our being by using wisely, giving and forgiving, what we have multiplies. This is what Jesus did when he multiplied the loaves and fishes. He took full notice of the five loaves and two fishes and was grateful for what he already had.
