I AM, THEREFORE I THINK

Descartes had it wrong. It is not "I think, therefore I am."; it is "I AM, therefore I think."

Awareness precedes thought. One has to BE before one can think. Thought is the content of Awareness.

Awareness is eternal and indestructible. We can lose our thoughts, emotions or memories but we can never lose our Awareness.

Even when we are asleep and dreaming, we are aware that we are. We may not know who we are but it is Awareness that is dreaming.

In fact, when we wake up in the morning, for a few seconds, we are only aware that we Are. Then, we gradually start remembering who we are and what our personal life story is.

Awareness is the container of the thoughts. And the thoughts are one with the container. The formless and the form are one.

Being or Awareness is All there is. And this Awareness is expressing itself in all that is. A flower is and it expresses its being by unfolding or blossoming.

Every being is expressing its hidden essence by behaving according to its intrinsic nature.

Every thing is perfectly being what it is at every point in time.

Every human being behaves according to his state of consciousness. Someone who behaves angrily is expressing his being perfectly because he is manifesting his state of consciousness, which is anger.   

We should accept people's behavior and be compassionate because everyone is just expressing his state of consciousness.

When we are in Love and Peace, we express Love and Peace because that is our intrinsic nature. 

As human beings, we are not stuck at our level of being like plants or animals. We are not doomed to remain an angry person. We have the choice to let go of our anger. We do this by no longer justifying it. In fact, there is no reason to be angry because all is happening according to spiritual Law and there is perfect justice. Injustice and disorder are illusions of the ego mind. 

The Creator and the Created are One. Being expresses itself as the Creator and the Created. Awareness creates out of Love and Life. The process of creation unfolds as thought, feeling and thing. But thought, feeling and thing are always within Awareness.

Therefore, we are always witnessing our own creations. And these creations are within consciousness. As we reach higher states of consciousness, the creations become more wholly.

When we reach the state of pure Awareness, we witness the pure Truth or Reality itself. There is only one "I" in the whole universe and that "I" is witnessing its own creations.
