CONSCIOUSNESS IS WHO I AM "I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." Isaiah 45:6-7 God's name in the Bible is composed of four Hebrew letters, YOD-HEY-VAV-HEY. These four letters represent the four levels of the universe:
So, God is in the whole universe through the intermediary of his Name. In the Old Testament, Moses reveals God as "I AM" Awareness. This is the level of pure Being. When we are Aware, we are experiencing pure Being, beyond thoughts. In the New Testament, Jesus reveals that I AM Awareness is the Way, the Truth, the Life and the Light. I AM Awareness is the Father that is within us. We are One with our Father or consciousness but our Father is greater than us. Since Awareness is the highest level of the universe, nothing can come into our life until our Awareness thinks and feels it. All the manifestations that we perceive in the universe have been thought and felt by Awareness. "Every one will agree with the statement that all things were made by God, and without him there is nothing made that is made, but what man does not agree upon is the identity of God. All the churches and priesthoods of the world disagree as to the identity and true nature of God. The Bible proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that Moses and the prophets were in one hundred per cent accord as to the identity and nature of God. And Jesus’ life and teachings are in agreement with the findings of the prophets of old. Moses discovered God to be man’s awareness of being, when he declared these little understood words, “I AM hath sent me unto you.” David sang in his psalms, “Be still and know that I AM God.” Isaiah declared, “I AM the Lord and there is none else. There is no God beside me. I girded thee, though thou hast not known me. I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I the Lord do all these things.”
